REVIEW A / AN, SOME & ANY BEFORE THE EXAM

Remember what we reviewed this morning in class:
-We don't use "any" in affirmative sentences.
-We don't use "some" in negative sentences.
-We use "a / an" in the three types of sentences (affirmative, negative and interrogative) but only with singular nouns.
-We use "some" with plural and uncountable nouns in affirmative and interrogative sentences.
-We use "any" in negative and interrogative sentences with plural and uncountable nouns.
-We use "some" and "any" for interrogative sentences. What is the difference?
*We use "some" to request and to offer.
*We use "any" to ask for information (= general questions)
